At age 12 Sheri was a child prodigy training with Impasto master Ted Fogel in the academic style of the Renaissance Artists.

Sheri was inspired by, and painted, replicas of the classical works. At a N.Y. painting seminar with The Finishing School, she learned to translate the oil technique of the old masters into acrylic. This summer she returns to Italy and studies again with the masters, Pascal Amblard, Sean Crosby, Pierre Finkelstein and Nicola Vigini.

The excitement and speed of Sheri's craft was in the spotlight at the N.Y. Javits Center in March where she was singled out by ARTV's Audrey Roberts who invited her to join a select group of artists for a national competition.

The 2005 ARTV Awards , founded by Audrey Roberts, will be the first ever, multi-media, Academy Award-style, red-carpet awards for artist.
